Spectator Entry Fees:

Per-day fee: $5 per day per spectator

Weekend/Event Pass: $10 for entire event (3-day event)

Children 12 and under free

Under no circumstances will the Copa Toque and its staff, Toque, and LA Convention Center be responsible for any part of any expenses associated to the event – including tournament fee, spectator fees, parking fees, and any other expenses.
Parking:
-
The West Hall and South Hall garages are easily accessible from major freeways and provide close parking for the Center, Crypto.com Arena, Peacock Theater, The Novo and L.A. LIVE.
-
General hours are generally 5:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., depending on events, and are subject to change. Flat rates of $27-$42 apply based on event and location.  All parking sales are final; no refunds or re-entry.

Thursday Night Games:

All local teams should be prepared to play a game on Thursday, 12/18/25, if needed.

Games times will be between 6:00pm – 11:00pm

If you are an out-of-town team and can play on Thursday night, please let us know.
Last Day of Championships:

Quarter Finals:

If needed, quarter finals will begin on Saturday, 12/20/25 evening

Semi Finals and Final

All semi-finals and championship matches will be played on Sunday 12/21/25

Championship game times will range between the hours of 8:00am – 7:00pm on Sunday, 12/21/25

TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE
Duration Of Game
-
Two 20-minute halves, with NO stopped clock for every dead-ball situation.
-
Playoff: (a) stoppage for every dead-ball situation during the last minute of the second half, (b) stoppage for every dead-ball situation during the last minute if the second overtime half.

Timeouts
-
One 30-second timeout per half for each team.
-
Playoff: No timeouts in any half during overtime play
Game Ball
-
A size 4 ball for U13 (2013 – 2007) and older.
-
A size 3 ball for U12 (2008 – 2014) and younger.
Equipment
-
Shin guards are mandatory.
-
Unified team uniform mandatory with numbered jerseys.
-
Goalkeepers must wear a distinct color from their teammates and the opposing team.
-
No jewelry is permitted.
Overtime and Shootouts
-
For knockout rounds, ties are broken by a 5-person penalty shootout.
-
Mercy Rule - The clock may stop and the game end early if a team leads by 15 goals or more with less than 5 minutes remaining
Team Roster
-
A player is eligible to play on a maximum of three (3) teams under the following regulations
-
Comply with appropriate age groups. Ex: a 2018 player playing on a 2018, 2017 & 2016 age division
-
Remain in the same Division Level.
-
A player rostered in a Select Division cannot crossover to the Development Division and vice versa
-
-
Remain in the same club. A player is restricted to play on different clubs.
-
-
Team rosters may include up to 12 participating players.
-
Coaches or team managers are responsible for providing all documentation for all players that are participating in this event.
-
Players that do not have proper documentation uploaded are ineligible to participate
-
Tournament Format
-
Group A, B, C, etc. format, with teams playing cross-pool games.
-
The top team(s) advance to playoffs.
-
Tiebreakers: Teams are ranked based on a sequence of tiebreakers

Teams must be at their assigned court at least 10 minutes prior to game time, and ready to present their Copa Toque Player Card to the officials at the court.
-
The referee will review the cards and roster and hold players cards until match is over.
-
Upon competition of the match each coach must retrieve the players cards.
-
Coaches are responsible to present a minimum of 4 players to start the match – failure to do so will result a 3 – 0 forfeit
-
After each match, coaches are required to report to the timekeeper referee and verify that official game card to ensure the score is accurate.
Spectators
-
All spectators must remain on their designated line of the courts
-
No one will be allowed next and/or behind the players bench side
TOURNAMENT RULES
OVERVIEW
COPA TOQUE WILL COMPLY WITH THE FIFA FUTSAL LAWS OF THE GAME ​
General Rules
-
5 players per side (4 outfield, 1 goalkeeper)
-
There is no off-sides during games play
-
There are no throw-ins – a kick-in will be used
-
Goal clearance – goalkeepers restart play by throwing the ball into play with their hands
-
Heading the ball is allowed
-
Sliding in futsal
-
Slide tackles: Slide tackling an opponent is a foul, often resulting in a direct free kick, a penalty kick, or an accumulated foul
-
Sliding for the ball: Sliding to play the ball yourself (to block a shot, for example) is allowed if there is no opponent within playing distance
-
Goalkeeper sliding: Goalkeepers are allowed to slide to defend their goal
-

Goalie's second touch rule will apply
-
Goalie cannot touch the ball twice in their defensive half during the same possession
-

Substitutions
-
Unlimited "flying" substitutions, which can occur at any time through a designated substitution zone
-
Unlimited "flying" substitutions for goalkeepers. Referees will not stop play for goalkeeping substitutions
-
A substitute may not enter the pitch until the player leaving the pitch leaves through the substitution zone in front of his teams’ bench. Failure to sub through designated substitutions areas will result with a caution (yellow card)
-
Teams will switch benches (and ends) at halftime. This ensures that all substitutions take place in the defensive half

Restarts and Scoring
Kick-offs:
-
A goal may be scored directly against the opponent from the kick-off. The ball is in play at player’s first touch
Kick-ins:
-
All kick-ins are indirect
-
The ball is placed on the touchline and kicked into play
-
The kick must be taken within 4 seconds
Free Kicks:
-
Free kicks may be indirect or direct
-
The ball must be stationary a referee’s selective area before the kick may be taken
Corner Kicks:
-
All corner kicks are direct
-
Taken from the corner arc and must be taken within 4 seconds. Failure to do so the restart becomes a goal clearance for the opposing team
Goal Clearance:
-
The goalkeeper must restart play by distributing the ball with their hands within 4 seconds
-
U13 and older – goalkeeper can distribute the ball cross the halfway line in the air
-
U12 and younger – goalkeeper cannot distribute the ball cross the halfway line in the air
Penalty Kicks:
-
A direct free shot taken from the penalty spot, with only the goalkeeper standing between the ball and the net.
-
1st penalty shot – 5 meters (16 feet) from goal-line
-
2nd penalty shot – 10 meters (32 feet) from the goal-line
Fouls and Discipline
Indirect Free Kick:
-
An indirect free kick us awarded to the opposing team when a player commits specific non-penal offenses
-
A goal cannot be scored directly from this kick; the ball must touch another player of either team before entering the goal
Direct Free Kick:
-
A direct free kick in futsal is a method if restarting play awarded after a team commits a foul or misconduct, such as handling the ball, striking, pushing, tackling, or holding an opponent in a manner judged careless, reckless, or using excessive force​
Accumulated Fouls:
-
After a team accumulates five fouls in one half, every subsequent foul results in a direct free kick from the second penalty spot (5meters)
-
The goalkeeper may be off the goal-line
-
Accumulated fouls are reset to zero at the beginning of the second half and carry over into extra-time if being played
Caution/Send-Offs:
-
Yellow Card – A caution for offenses like unsporting behavior, dissent, or persistent fouls. Two yellow cards in a single match result in a red card
-
Red Card - A player receiving a red card is sent off. Their team plays down a player for two minutes, or until the opposing team scores a goal, whichever comes first
The Goalkeeper
-
A goalkeeper must release the ball with their hands within four (4) seconds during a goal clearance
-
A goalkeeper must release the ball within four (4) seconds during game plays
-
The goalkeeper cannot score by throwing the ball directly into the opponent’s goal
-
A goalkeeper cannot touch the ball with their hands after it has been deliberately played back to them by a teammate until an opponent has touched it
